Dogs & Cats

Our introductory puppy and kitten packs provide everything your new addition requires to get them started.  We offer a 10% discount on all parasite control if it is purchased together as a year plan package.  We are fully equipped to deal with the vast majority of both medical and surgical cases from diabetes to fracture repairs.

Birds

At Vine Tree Vets we aim to provide a comprehensive service for all avian species from raptors to backyard poultry. 

We have dedicated hospitalisation facilities for birds with avian specific cages. We have a full range of diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, x-ray, rehabilitation facilities, endoscopy and in house blood, faecal and urinary analysers. We are equipped with all the necessary anaesthetic equipment and our vets are experienced in a wide range of diagnostic and surgical procedures.

We are also happy to help with all aspects of husbandry and dietary advice.  The vast majority of clinical conditions seen at the surgery are as a direct result of incorrect feeding or failure to provide an optimal habitat.

Exotics & Small Mammals


We have dedicated hospitalisation facilities for small mammals, reptiles and amphibians.  We also have a dedicated preparation room where our exotic species can be treated away from the hustle and bustle of the practice.

We are well equipped with all the necessary anaesthetic equipment. Our vets are experienced in a wide range of surgical procedures from, routine neutering to more involved soft tissue and orthopaedic operations.
In addition we have a full range of diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, x-ray, rehabilitation facilities, endoscopy and in house blood, faecal and urinary analysers.

We are also happy to help with all aspects of husbandry and dietary advice.  The vast majority of clinical conditions seen at the surgery are as a direct result of incorrect feeding or failure to provide an optimal habitat.

Reptiles: Lizards (including geckos, chameleons, iguanas, bearded and water dragons)

Large Animal and Equine

All of our Vets are large animal and equine practitioners. We are well equipped to deal with a wide variety of care needs for our clients. We have facilities to house sheep/goats overnight if needing specific treatment:

Senior Health Check

When our pets reach their golden years, their needs change as they age. This is due to the inevitable wear and tear on their body, after all they have been functioning for some time! Conditions that are commonly seen amongst our older pets are: arthritis, obesity, and senility. There are more serious diseases our pets can suffer from, such as liver failure, kidney, or heart and lung disease. These conditions are debilitating and early diagnosis is key to maintaining your pet’s health and wellbeing.
